🥬 Bok Choy

Bok choy is a tender, leafy green with crisp stems and mild, slightly sweet flavor, grown seasonally at Mama Anita’s Farm. Known for its balance of texture and freshness, bok choy is a versatile vegetable that works beautifully in both light and hearty dishes. It is harvested fresh to preserve its natural crunch and vibrant color.

In season: December–March

Bok choy is commonly used in stir-fries, soups, steamed dishes, and sautés. Its leaves soften quickly while the stems remain crisp, making it ideal for quick cooking and simple preparations that highlight fresh ingredients.

Bok choy fits easily into everyday cooking, offering a clean, comforting flavor that pairs well with garlic, ginger, onions, and light sauces. Whether served as a main vegetable or added to mixed dishes, it brings balance, texture, and freshness to meals without overpowering other flavors.
