🌿 Peas

Peas are tender, cool-season vegetables grown during Eleuthera’s winter months. They are harvested young for freshness and mild, sweet flavor.

In season: January–March

Peas are used in rice dishes, soups, stews, and vegetable sautés. They also work well in simple preparations with onions, herbs, and olive oil, or as part of mixed vegetable dishes.

Peas are grown seasonally at Mama Anita’s Farm and harvested fresh for their sweet flavor and tender texture. They are a simple, nourishing addition to many everyday meals and pair well with rice, vegetables, and soups.
