Cilantro is a delicate, fast-growing herb with bright, fresh flavor, grown seasonally at Mama Anita’s Farm. It thrives during Eleuthera’s cooler months and is harvested fresh for maximum aroma and taste.
In season: December–March
Cilantro is commonly used in fresh salsas, marinades, rice dishes, soups, and seafood recipes. It is also used to infuse olive oil, adding a bold, herb-forward flavor that pairs well with fish, vegetables, and island-inspired dishes.

Cilantro—also known as coriander leaf—comes from the same plant as coriander seed. While the seeds are commonly called coriander, the fresh leaves and stems are known as cilantro in many parts of the world. At Mama Anita’s Farm, we grow and offer the fresh leafy herb, valued for both its flavor and everyday wellness benefits.
Grown with care and harvested fresh—come pick some up while it’s in season.
